Hi guys,

What took you so long? (LOL)

I'm into so much projects the last weeks that I forgot Miss P/M for a sec.

Last night I saw the duet lo and finally finished it.

The lo is split into 2 different styles. I love to see that PJ's style is so different from me.

I'm off for two weeks vacation so have fun everybody and enjoy your creativity.

A yellow duet...

This is the Miss P/M duet... a special project in two episodes...

And this is part one...


I made some yellow 'patterned paper' with Fancy Pants clear stamps, Colorbox regular ink and artists chalk pastels by Windsor...
And after putting the basic LO together, it's Mika's turn...
I'm handing it over to her tomorrow, and I can't wait to see how she's going to finish it...

Yes I am alive......! Sorry that it took so long. 

I had some busy times around here so no time to be creative.

I thought it would be so difficult to work with the "cleaning ear stuff" and the tape, but it was so much fun. As many as you, I have a lot of stuff in my scraproom and choose the things to work with, it's alway's hard for me. It keeps me going that I had no choice this time. It took me half an hour to make this one, and I love it!!!! Stands on my desk so I can see it everyday, and I think I would make more of them.

Here it is!!!!

 

The thing I love the most is that the tape is not straight. You can make your own border.

How did I do this?

Take some cardstock, glue the picture in the middle. Take the tape and turn it around the pic.

After that you take the " ear stuff"  and put this on the pic in the position you like. I attached  it with the tape. Choose the colours you like and paint the "ear stuff" . After that I taped the borders of the cardstock with some space behind it and pulled it away. Simple as that, so be creative!!!!

Garbage and new project

Hello everybody, after the garbage (not PJ's stuff but real garbage) it is time for some new project called " my buddies choice" 

My boy came up with this..........?

Tape and ear stuff (Don't know how to say that)

I think I can make something with this.....So stay tuned.

The garbage-can project...

Remember the two items I dug up out of my garbage can last week?
Well, I managed to turn these into this:


I made a notebook, using some left over pieces of a pizza box, white sturdy paper and my bind-it-all machine...


The inside covers are covered with the new Basic Grey paper... and I made a matching back cover...


I cut the museum flyer into strips, and adhered some Basic Grey paper strips in between... then I added some brown paint, by using a resist technique with clear embossing powder and a harlequin stamp... then I glued the piece to the front cover...


I cut the packagingmaterial into usable pieces and used one to cover the focal point (magazine picture) of the cover, after stamping on it with white paint...


The other packaging piece I run through my die-cutting machine, to create this clear florishing embelishment...

I think it turned out really well, and the best part of it is that most used materials are from the garbage can...
Can't wait to see what you came up with...

The blog-make over...

As Mika told you last week, we're kind of giving Miss P/M a re-do... we weren't happy with the way it all was going, and Mika got a bit tired of that pinkish color the blog had...

So, a total make-over...

We're busy experimenting with a new fresh look, and... we have some new topics for you to join in every week (or every other week, that depends on the topic)...

Sounds great, doesn't it???

We do not like to reveil the details of all the topics right now... you'll find out about all four of them as we go along... what we do like you to know right now is that we won't restick you or ourselves to scrapbook like projects... the artform for the projects on this blog is free and totaly up to you... the same with the medium you choose... pens, paint, paper, fabric, photoshop, clay... what ever you like... pictures are welcome, but it's not nesessary to include them...

Well, that said, I start with the first topic... no. 1: treasures from your garbage can...

The idea behind this is that it's kind of easy to make something beautiful with your store bought and ready to go items... but what about all the stuff we throw away? If you look closely, there are many treasures to be found in your garbage...

So... the deal in this topic is to choose one or a few items out of your garbage, and use these in your art-project... but, watch out: you have to use the items you pic... and to make sure you don't sneak something out of your creative process, you have to show the 'treasures' first, by showing them on your blog...

This is my garbage after a whole week in the studio:

and these are my two treasures... some plastic packing material, and a flyer from a museum my son went to last weekend...

Well, I'm going to find out how I can get these two items in an art project and hopefuly you like the idea and join me... it's easy, pick something from the trash, show us the items (post a link in the comment section) and make some art!!!

Hello everybody......what did you think, what took you so long?

Both of us had bussy times at work and at home so no time at all for some creativity.

Last week we got together and had a great afternoon with eachother. We think that the Miss P/M blog have to go in the remake. 

We know you read every week, but we want that everybody reads Miss P/M. It will be so great if we could make a lot of people misses!!!!!!! And spread our ideas all around the world.

We made a lot of plans last week so we hope that your in with our ideas.

A bit late (we have some kind of sickbay here), but here's my version of 'the body story'...

I tried to copy some details of Mika's page: the torn kraftcolored piece at the bottom, a larger photo in the left top corner (not a pretty as Mika's, I know...), the creamcolored journalingpiece and the plain background...

Take your space...

Happy Easter everybody... hope you alle have a fabulous weekend...

For me it's a very creative one... and that involves much more than dyed or painted eggs! I've been very inspired by Karla's fabulous page from last week, so I 'scraplifted' a bit... and I wanted to incorporate something of this weekends weekendcreative project by Ali Edwards, because it fitted so perfectly into our blog theme... So I combined the two, and came up with this...

Ali was talking about our own personal message... you can read more about it here... do you have one? If yes, what does it say? Mine is about taking space for yourself... as a working mum, I'm always cought up in various task thoughout the day... I want to do all those tasks the right way (that means putting myself in for 100%), and I want to please my loved ones with all the things I do for them. And... you probably guessed it already... I forget myself in the proces... and that makes me unhappy... so... my message is to take your own space, cause you deserve that!

So, hopefully you're thinking right now about the message you have for yourself... if so, grab your supplies and be creative with it... and share your page before next Friday!

Relax-ed?

A bit later than planned, but here we go: my relaxed page... (no more pink, because I just bought the MM 5th Avenue line, a I could not wait to use it...)

Mika got me there, cause the whole relax-thing is not exactly my strongest point! But therefore a every good topic to use in your scrapbookprojects!

Again.....a room!

Hai there, it is Friday and P/M night. Last week PJ posted her fabulous scraproom, so here is my room...... Small, such a mess but fabulous for me. This room is my place to relax and enjoy all kinds of creativity. In about a few months I will organize and paint this room from a mess into a paradise. I show you when it's done. Wanna show us your room???????

With the right workspace...

I know, it's NOT Friday, but Saturday... But my intentions were all good, when I came home from work yesterday... I was going to make you a nice page, and post it later that evening... that was the plan...

But when I came into the door, my sweet son almost pushed me up the stairs, shouting that there was a surprise in my new studio... and boy oh boy, there was!!!

A brand new mega high worktable on wheels... so I can scrap standing now! I had to finish the project, cause the drawers were not ready yet. And after that I fixed those, I had some re-decorating to do, and that took me almost the rest of the evening.

But I made you that page today... from the new table, at the new table...
