Fabric

I know it's just like the week before...it's 12:45 PM and I only found the time just now to post.... sorry.

For this week I have some lo with fabric. I used it for the OLW challange but I think it's perfect to show a second time. You'll see what you can do with fabric and some foam stickers.....and I love the picture. So...looked at home for some fabric and started to work for some Lo. We love to see the things you make so leave a comment with some link for your Lo and we post some of them. For now happy x mas and enjoy these day's. Next week same place same time, Mika

Purple stamping fun...

Yes, I know... Saturday afternoon isn't exactely Friday evening... sorry guys, I had a deadline for a magazine last night, so that was scrap, scrap and scrap... and because my life was a bit to hectic last week, I prosponed this post a bit...

But... here we go, in all it's purleness...

Again a stamped journal... I used a lot of metallic paints this time, and binded the whole album with silver thread tied around a gold painted branch... the face in the middel is a stamped image, but you could use a picture instead...

Hello everybody, it's Friday, so Miss P/M day.

This morning I saw on the internet a cover from a cd of my favorite band.

I loved the colours and had after a few seconds some ideas for a Lo. Sometimes you've got "the feeling" and it turns out to be a great part of creativity. I did an exact copy so it looked the same as the cover of the cd... and you have to look closely to see where is the picture. Do you see it?

So, you see inspiration is everywhere! Have a great weekend and stay tuned next week for some stuff from PJ.

Play with paint and stamps...

Before I started scrapping, I stamped a lot... so I have a nice collection of various stamps to choose from whenever I'm inspired...

add the fact that I love minialbums (I'm quit know for that at the DT team I'm working for...) and my love for paint and you get this:

A small wooden mini art journal... the piece on top is an altered domino stone... and the iner pages are made from black cardstock... the whole thing is 18 by 12 cm, a nice size for quick pages...

Are there any (art)stamps in your stash? If so, get them out, grab some paint and play... oh, and don't forget to show your artwork, okay?

Same Pattern

Friday night is always Miss P/M night. Yesterday we had some friends over and it was way to late to post something. So today I make it up to you.

I used the Pattern from PJ to create this Lo.

It's great to do it like this. PJ was inspired by my painting, so made the Bee waxed Lo and I was inspired by the Pattern on her Lo. It is great to work like this and create together.

We are still looking for your Lo's to insprire others so let us know if you had a great idea.

Play...

Mika and I thought it would be nice to show you what our intentions are with this blog... it's all about getting inspired and do something with it...

So...my inspiration piece for this was Mika's last post... I used the white background, the texture (looked a bit canvas-like to me) the flower image, the black letters, the piece of paper at the left with the silver embellishment and bit of that pink color...

Added a bit more and came up with this:

If you like to try something different for a while, I highly recommend a project like this: it's a canvasboard, decorated with paint and embellishments, 'sealed' with melted beeswax!

Normaly we don't share close ups, but to show you the beeswax better I made a few extra photo's:

Something to flirt?

Back on track after 6 weeks of vacation. Thanks PJ for posting my Lo's.

Colors I love...

I'm doing the honors again for Mika, 'cause she's still on vacation...
She made this drawing for you, with the idea in mind that it's all about color... your favorite colors... so grab those (pencils, chalks, paints, whatever medium you prefer) and create something! Have fun!!

Use your letters!

I know, it's not pink, but hee, blue is great too, right? I used this great technique here, by using my letters (Heidi Swapp iron-on transfers apple pie) as a background instead as a title... great fun! Also a good technique if you want to use your left over letters!

Today (yes, a bit late... had a lot of other scrappin' commitments this weekend!) I'll do the honours, because Mika's having this long vacation... she made this one for you guys before she left.

Imagine... you have this fabulous picture... you make a great page... you start writing your journaling and... oh, not enough room to put down everything I want to say... the disapointment... it happens to me all the time!

So I thought: make it bigger then... I give you... the giant journaling card:

You see, enough room to put everything down you like... and it's easy to create your own, just use Word on your computer...
